Cynthia Allen-Fuss named as Associate Clinical Director
On behalf of the President of the Children’s Dyslexia Centers, Inc. David A. Glattly, it is my pleasure to announce that Cynthia Allen-Fuss has been named as our new Associate Clinical Director. She will report to Carin M. Illig, Clinical Director of the CDC Inc.
Ms. Allen-Fuss brings a wealth of experience and perspective to the position. Her exposure to the CDC began as a parent of a student at our Harrisburg Center. She trained there as a tutor, was qualified as a trainer and supervisor and most recently served as the Co-Director of the Center.

She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Individual and Family Studies/Child Development from Pennsylvania State University and her Master’s Degree in Special Education from Millersville University. She received her Certification in Elementary Education from Wilson College, her Certification as a Reading Specialist from Millersville University and her National Board Certification in Literacy from the University of Colorado.
